Vikas Kumar

I completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, under the supervision of Prof. Aditi Gangopadhyay. My doctoral research focused on the cryptanalysis and design of lattice-based post-quantum cryptosystems, with a particular emphasis on NTRU-like constructions.

Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Computer Science, University of Calgary, Canada, under the supervision of Prof. Reihaneh Safavi-Naini. Prior to this, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Information and Machine Learning Lab, Department of Computer Engineering, Gachon University, South Korea, hosted by Prof. Seong Oun Hwang. I also worked as a Project Associate in the Quantum Safe Design and Analysis Lab (QSDAL), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Roorkee, under the supervision of Prof. Sugata Gangopadhyay.
